CONCORD HOSPITAL TRUST
14
Growing up, Moriah Billups was
surrounded by adults committed to
service. Billups comes from a family
with deep roots in the community.
Her grandfather, Charles E. Billups,
is the namesake of an award given
annually through the Greater
Haverhill (Massachusetts) Chamber of
Commerce to recognize outstanding
public service.
“Philanthropy is really taught by
learning and watching,” says Billups,
who has been a member of the Trust
team since 2021. “My parents and many
other family members were always
giving back in any way they could,
whether through donations or time.”
Over the last four years, not only
has Billups devoted her career to
philanthropy, including overseeing
annual events for the Trust such as
Pedaling for Payson and the Rock ’N
Race, but she also works with staff
and volunteers to raise funds through
individual and corporate donations.
Outside of work, Billups has been
equally impactful as a member of the
Steering Committee for the Concord
Young Professionals Network (CYPN),
an arm of the Concord Chamber of
Commerce, through which she
makes connections that often lead to
volunteer recruitment and
participation in hospital fundraisers.
Through that association, Billups
has become a vocal advocate for the
importance of supporting local health
care. And it’s because of that advocacy
that the Chamber of Commerce last
year honored Billups as its Young
Professional of the Year.
“It’s a privilege to work alongside
Moriah, who’s an outstanding team
member,” Chief Advancement Officer
