2026
As I reflect on the year behind us, I am filled with deep gratitude and optimism for what lies ahead.
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our donors and the dedication of our Trust team, we surpassed our
philanthropic goal of $3.4 million, raising more than $4 million in support of Concord Hospital Health System (CHHS).
These investments are already making a meaningful difference — supporting the renovation of The Family Place,
advancing enhancements at the Payson Center for Cancer Care, and fueling innovation at the Cardiovascular Institute,
among many other priorities.
This is philanthropy in action. It fuels progress, expands access to care, and ensures we can continue caring for our
patients with excellence and compassion — while building a healthier future for the communities we serve.
Financial independence matters deeply to us. It means security for our patients and peace of mind for our communities.
It means care decisions are made locally, by people who understand New Hampshire and care deeply about those who
call it home. Through sound management, innovation, and remarkable generosity, CHHS remains strong and sustainable
— able to keep our promise of exceptional clinical care and service excellence for every patient, every time.
I am profoundly grateful to work alongside such an outstanding Trust team, our dedicated senior leadership, an engaged
and committed Board, committed committees, and community partners who share a deep belief in this work. It is a
privilege to lead advancement efforts in the very communities where I live, work, and play — and to support people and
places that mean so much to me personally.
I am also deeply appreciative of the opportunity to oversee philanthropy alongside our marketing and communications
efforts. Together, these disciplines are closely connected — telling the story of care, amplifying impact, and ensuring our
communities know that exceptional care is available close to home. When our message and mission align, we strengthen
trust, deepen relationships, and extend our reach in powerful ways.
One of the most meaningful moments of the year was our Gratitude Gala in October. The overwhelming response and
warmth of that evening will stay with us for a long time. Bringing together our major donors with a single purpose — to
simply say “thank you”—was a true joy. It reminded us how important it is to pause, reflect, and express appreciation for
the generosity that makes our mission possible.
Over the past year, we have also evolved our philanthropic strategy — expanding our focus on major gifts and planned
giving, while continuing to strengthen annual giving and signature events that form the foundation of our programs.
This approach is working. Not only did we exceed our goals, but we also deepened and reinforced relationships across
our communities — with individuals, families, businesses, sponsors, and foundations who believe in our care and
demonstrate that belief through partnership and generosity.
I feel fortunate every day to work for an organization I truly believe in, alongside a team I respect, trust, and enjoy, and with
donors who share our commitment to caring for one another. This work is never done alone. It takes a cohesive, dedicated
team — and it takes an entire community — to ensure that care is available when and where it is needed most.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Your generosity, partnership, and belief in our
mission make all the difference.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Veronica L. Rosa, EdD
