b'Our Foundational Principle of QualityCHHS has implemented the AIDET framework, which stands for Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explain, and Thank. This communication tool has been instrumental in improving interactions with patients, families, and colleagues. The AIDET model helps build confidence in our providers and health system. We have also embraced a Just Culture approach, which promotes a balanced perspective on errors and encourages employees to report mistakes. This culture of openness and accountability allows us to address issues fairly and thoughtfully, improving both patient safety and workplace efficiency. As another testament to our quality of care, CHHS was the only hospital in New Hampshire named to the Lown Institutes *list of Americas most socially responsible hospitals. The health system ranked 130 out of more than 2,700 acute care hospitals that received the distinction. Were incredibly proud to receive this recognition from the Lown Institute, President and CEORobert P. Steigmeyer says. Our commitment to clinical and service excellence is at the core of everythingwe do across the health system. In creating its list, the Lown Institute evaluated 2,784 acute care hospitals, focusing on more than 50 metrics across equity, care value, and outcomes. CHHS was one of only 154 hospitals to achieve A grades, and the accompanying honor roll designation for each of the three major categories. To compile its rankings, the Lown Institute used publicly available data from Medicare and Medicare Advantage claims, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services hospital cost reports, and Internal Revenue Service Form 990, alongwith other resources. *The Lown Institute is a nonpartisan think tank advocating bold ideas for a just and caring system for health.15'
