Then in 2021, merged asCharles Santana; Lori Smith; Stacey Shannon; Chris Harding; Jennifer Bobolia, APRN;a system department with Occupational & Employee Health at ConcordLynne Avery, RN; Maurine Judge, OTRHospital - Laconia and Concord Hospital - Franklin. The staff consists of patient care coordinators, medical assistants, registered nurses, an ergonomic evaluation specialist, advanced practice registered nurses, physicians and practice leadership. Working together side-by-side for some time now, the group is becoming a cohesive team.COVID-19 has kept them very busy. They work hard to make sure staff have their questions answered, understand the many employee guidance documents, are appropriately protected with masks, and are returned to work safely. In addition, they are available to give employees COVID-19 vaccinations.Occupational & Employee Healths main goal is keeping our employees safe and healthy so they can take care of our patients. In addition to caring for our own employees, they have external clients for which they provide the same employee health services.A broad list of servicesincludes: Employee physical exams, immunization review, respiratory Ergonomic evaluations of employee work stationsclearance and lift testing for new hires and transfers; both for employees and external clients; Injury management for our employees and external Medical surveillance exams for external clients includingclients including workers compensation injury treatment, post offer physicals and return to duty exams;follow-up care and return to work. Workers compensationFirefighter (NFPA 1582), Hazardous Material and Policecase management for all three hospitals and all offsite physical exams (baseline and annual);locations is now centralized;Drug and alcohol testing - DOT Drug Testing Consortium; Respirator fitness including annual fit testing;Audiometric screening (baseline and annual); Annual flu vaccination program including the Flu FighterRespiratory medical clearance evaluations for externalambassador program; clients including OSHA questionnaire, spirometry testing Safe patient handling program; and interpretation and N95 respirator fit testing. Temporary Alternative Duty assignments for non-workrelated emplovee injuries;Occupational and Employee Health staff take great pride in their work. They have accomplished a lot in the past couple of years whichwere full of surprises and constant change.
