b'NURSING HIGHLIGHTS 2022DearNurses and Nursing Partnersin Care:As we reflect back on our 2022 calendar year, we pause to recognize all of nursing and our nursing partners in care, including licensed nursing assistants, technicians, medical assistants and coordinators throughout our health system. During the past year, nurses and care teams provided countless hours of care to patients and their families in a myriad of inpatient, outpatient and community settings. Your important contributions to the advancement of health for patients in our communities is certainly cause for celebration! You have demonstrated your dedication to our patients by providing quality patient care while enhancing patient satisfaction. I am grateful for all you do. In spite of the challenges that we have faced, and as health care continues to change rapidly, our nurses continuously seek ways to learn, grow, adapt and contribute to our patients and families well-being and health. OurPEOPLEfoster collaborative approaches to improvement, support innovative ideas and look to continuously support each other. A reflection on this past year encourages us to pause and recognize the importance of our work, identify what matters and celebrate the value nursing and our nursing partners bring to the communities of central New Hampshire. Concord Hospital health system takes tremendous pride in our more than 1,200 nurses and 800 nursing partners who are part of this organization and who continually further our progress in the journey towards clinical excellence and exceptional service. The elements of clinical expertise and compassion, which are fundamental to the nursing profession, are strong. Yet as a profession that serves others, nursing must constantly evolve its knowledge base, competence and collaboration in response to the changing needs of patients. Nursing and our partners in nursing care must lead through the opportunities across our system to align and strengthen our practice standards, enhance and elevate the patient experience and deepen our understanding of process to improve patient outcomes as we navigate and advance through the clinical INTEGRATIONof our unified system.As our healthcare system transforms in the coming years, nursing can and must play a vital role in thisTRANSFORMATION. Continuing to develop our own professional practice and advance the profession of nursing and care teams are essential elements of this transformation. It is only through this continuous pursuit of excellence and innovation that we can keep our promise to provide value to those we serve. I am confident that nursing across our health system will embrace this journey. My sincere and heartfelt thanks to all nurses and nursing partners in the Concord Hospitalhealth system.
