It is important to us tooso much so that it is included as a core element in our Trust Mission Statement. The Trust goes to extraordinary lengths to direct contributions, both past and present, to support the initiatives, programs and services that donors intended when they \x1f rst made their gifts. It is a commitment we make to donors when we accept their gifts and it continues until the contributions are expended or, in the case of endowments, in perpetuity.Requests for funding support comes from Hospital sta\x1eto the Trust sta\x1ewho, in turn, recommend prospective distributions from restricted and endowment funds to the Trust Stewardship Committee, often in collaboration with the donor or the donors family members. In the case of unrestricted contributions or available funding from unrestricted endowments, the Stewardship Committee determines use based upon community health needs as well as Concord Hospital priorities. As we welcome contributors from the Lakes and Three Rivers regions to the Concord Hospital Trust, we extend our commitment to donor intent to them and LRGHealthcare donors of the past. Gifts may be directed to support Concord Hospital - Laconia, Concord Hospital - Franklin, and to any beloved program or service. We have established a Regional Council of community representatives to not only oversee fundraising locally, but also steward the philanthropic funds that were transferred when Concord Hospital acquired LRGHealthcare and any future funds raised. As Concord Hospital grows and the Trust grows along with it, we are ever-grateful to the contributors who support the programs and services that respond to the needs of people in the now more than 50 communities we serve. Without you, those things that make our organization special would not be possible! Pamela Puleo, FAHP, FCEPCHIEF ADVANCEMENT OFFICER'
