b'4 CONCORD HOSPITAL TRUSTChampions of Care:Celebrating the People and PartnershipsImpacting Concord Hospital Health SystemLast year, Linnea and Mark Fraser found themselves in the emergency department at Concord Hospital - Laconia on three separate occasions. Despite being cared for by a different doctor oneach of those visits, the Frasers were extremely pleased with the continuity of care they received. It didnt matter who was taking care of us, Linnea Fraser says. The communication was just outstanding; the care was top notch; the teamwork was excellent. The Frasers are not alone in their assessment of the level of care they encountered at Concord Hospital Health System (CHHS), and in this issue of Your Trust, we highlight other patients and the professionals charged with their care. That care includes the philanthropic contributions, system-wide, of the medical staff, who have collectively pledged $185,000$37,000 per year over the next five yearstoward the priorities of the Trust. Its an investment that will align with the hospitals comprehensive $20-$25 million fundraising campaign, and one that demonstrates the deep commitment of our medical professionals to the well-being of patients and the community. We also introduce many individuals who give their time and resources to CHHS, including four new members of the Trusts Board of Trusteestwo of whom are employees; donors who have remembered the Trust in their estates; businesses that choose to dedicate time and dollars to supporting their local hospital; and employees who elect to devote their own financial resources to supporting one another through the Employee Helping Hands Fund. These individuals, and many others, are CHampions among us, and they understand what must be prioritized in putting community needs first.I recognize, says Chief Administrative Officer Kevin McCarthy of Concord Hospital - Laconia and Franklin, in order to take care of our patients, we need to take care of each other as well.'
