From early identifi cation of behavioral health concerns in CHMG practices through a depression screening questionnaire, to serving the urgent needs of children and adults through the Emergency Department and inpatient units, the Hospital consistently invested nearly $11 million to support the needs of people with behavioral health concerns, partnering with Riverbend Community Mental Health to create a comprehensive model of care throughout the community.CONCORD HOSPITAL FRESH START PROGRAMConcord Hospital Achievements in 2021 include:Caring for 271 patients in a voluntary behavioral health inpatient care unit;Serving 1,435 people struggling with substance misuse at the Hospitals Fresh Start Program;Providing 1,693 new mothers postpartum emotional support programs;Caring for 99 children in behavioral health crisis who were awaiting placement in an acute psychiatric facility in the OPIOID DEPENDENT BABIES AT THE FAMILY PLACE Hospitals Pediatric Unit;Providing a substance misuse resource for 1,435 Strengthening partnerships to continue and expand vitalcommunity members.programs and services, the Hospital and Concord Hospital Trust provided more than $912,000 to fund substance misuse services.
